Planning & Procurement Specialist
Tasks:
1. Develop and execute material planning for repair and overhaul activities, ensuring material availability to support maintenance schedules and contract deliverables.
2. Perform end-to-end procurement of spare parts, tools, and consumables in compliance with aviation regulations, company procedures, and approved supplier requirements.
3. Manage outsourcing of sub-components, including repair, overhaul, and external services, ensuring cost effectiveness, quality, and on-time delivery.
4. Monitor supplier performance and material delivery status, proactively managing inventory shortage, AOG risk, and escalation topics.
5. Coordinate with logistics department to solve any shipment issue.
6. Support inventory optimization initiatives by analyzing material demand, usage trends, and lead times to balance material availability and inventory cost.
7. Assess stocking strategies, including minimum stock levels, safety stock, and reorder points.
8. Monitor inventory turnover, excess and obsolete materials, and slow-moving parts, and propose actions to reduce inventory.
Requirements:
1) Bachelor’s degree or above.
2) At least 5-year working experience or equivalent work experience in material planning & provisioning in aerospace MRO.
3) Excellent knowledge of material planning.
4) Solid knowledge of procurement processes, incoterms, aviation supply chain, repair cycles, and lead-time constraints.
5) Knowledge of sub-component outsourcing and repair management.
6) Knowledge of import & export process and compliance requirement.
