Job Description:
· Lead end-to-end planning and execution of conferences and summits across China.
· Work closely with internal teams, clients, and sponsors to develop compelling agendas and event experiences.
· Manage relationships with venues, vendors, and suppliers to ensure seamless delivery and adherence to budgets.
· Monitor profitability, track event KPIs, and ensure events meet both client expectations and IDC standards.
· Utilize social media and digital tools to support event marketing and drive audience engagement.
· Be a team player who contributes to a collaborative, high-energy environment and inspires colleagues.
Qualifications:
· Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
· Minimum Experience: 5+ years of experience in managing B2B conferences, preferably within the technology, consulting, or media industries.
· Proven track record in client-facing roles, event budgeting, and multi-event project management.
· Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
· Working knowledge of social media platforms for event marketing and engagement.
· Experience with virtual/hybrid event platforms (e.g., CVENT, Hopin, On24) and live streaming technologies.
· Open to travel for events and Support regional teams outside China when needed, based on event priorities.
