Key Responsibilities
主要職責
成功的候選人將負責對進行中的項目機械運營進行全面審查和日常監督，包括：
1. Shop Drawings & Design Inspection 1. 施工圖與設計檢查

• Plan Reviews for Technical Accuracy: Critically examine current product mechanical designs, duct diagrams, load calculations (heating/cooling), and equipment specifications prior to installation to ensure compliance with relevant US/Canadian mechanical and building codes (e.g., IMC, UMC) and best practices.

• Plan Reviews for Product Alignment and Accuracy: Evaluate and review mechanical shop drawings for completeness and conformance to the approved modular designs issued for fabrication.

• Must have experience redlining and reviewing mechanical shop drawings.

• Verification Lab Testing Coordination: Help prepare samples of key mechanical components (e.g., fan coils, vents, dampers) received at the Subcontractor facility for 3rd party laboratory verification testing.

2. Process Optimization & Training 2. 流程優化與培訓

• Process Mapping: Review and revise the current workflow for modular mechanical (HVAC and ventilation) installation, testing, and quality control.

• Suggest improvements or efficiencies where necessary, focusing on airtightness, energy efficiency, and consistency.

• Techniques & Equipment: Evaluate existing tools, testing equipment (e.g., airflow meters, balancing hoods), and worker techniques in use for duct installation, sealing, component connection, and system commissioning.

• Recommend specific upgrades, additions, training, or modifications to improve process efficiency and consistency.

• Training and Mentorship: Lead hands-on and classroom training sessions for the mechanical teams on code requirements, best practice installation techniques for ductwork and refrigerant lines, safety protocols, and quality standards.

3. Quality Assurance & Standards Development 3. 質量保證與標準制定

• Quality Control (QC) Program: Review and enhance the current QC Inspection and Testing Plans, project quality criteria, and mechanical quality control documentation processes.

• This must include duct leakage testing, airflow verification, and final system start-up and commissioning sign-offs.

• Defect Root Cause Analysis: Identify and troubleshoot common mechanical defects such as duct leaks, improper refrigerant charge, poor air balance, or vibration issues, and develop preventative measures or appropriate repair/rework procedures.
  
• 缺陷根本原因分析： 識別和排除常見的機械缺陷，如風管泄漏、制冷劑充注不當、空氣平衡不良或振動問題，并制定預防措施或適當的維修/返工程序。
  
• Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Develop clear, visual, and concise SOPs for all critical steps in mechanical installation, testing, and quality control where these SOPs don’t already exist in the company system.

Qualifications
資格要求

• Nationality/Residency: Chinese.
  
• 國籍/居住地： 中國籍。
  
• Experience: A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in commercial or residential HVAC/mechanical systems, with a focus on new construction or industrial facility systems management.
  
• 經驗： 至少 3 年商業或住宅暖通空調/機械系統的實踐經驗，重點是新建或工業設施系統管理。
  
• Technical Expertise:
  
  • Deep knowledge of governing US/Canadian mechanical codes (e.g., IMC, UMC) and their implementation during factory installation and pre-site readiness.
  • 深入了解美國/加拿大現行機械規范（例如，IMC、UMC）及其在工廠安裝和現場準備期間的實施。
  • HVAC Technician License or equivalent recognized professional certification in a North American or Western European jurisdiction is highly sought after.

  • Experience or qualification with IMC, UMC, ASHRAE, or ISO mechanical codes and standards will be strongly considered.

  • Expertise in overseeing procedure qualification and technician training/certification.

• Modular/Factory Experience (Preferred): Experience working on modular, prefabricated, or production-line construction projects is a significant asset.

• Training & Communication: Proven ability to effectively train, mentor, and communicate technical information to diverse multi-lingual teams.

• Physical Requirements: Ability to be on a factory floor for extended periods, including climbing stairs/ladders and withstanding production-line environments as required.

Compensation and Logistics

• Contract Duration: 1 year.
