Mission & mains tasks
Sales of Customer Service Projects:
- Identify opportunities for ESS product service projects.
- Define the approach of service projects with sales colleagues:
o Direct
o In-direct - through one service partner
- Follow up “Direct” service projects, submit offer and technical proposal.
- Finalize sales contract and technical agreement for signatures.
- Jointly with colleagues influence clients and operators on appropriate product maintenance, to avoid over maintenance.
Project Management & Coordination:
- Responsible for all service project management, e.g. scope, time, cost, quality & risk.
- As communication window to customers, operators and other external project stakeholders:
- Coordinate internally on resource allocation among various projects and tasks.
- Organize and participate in project meetings; prepare minutes and follow up on decisions.
- Lead project reviews, inspections, first article inspection (FAI), site acceptance tests (SAT), and project close-out activities.
- Assist in the preparation, review, and control of technical documentation, drawings, specifications, and interface documents.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress reports, technical specifications, and change orders, to keep stakeholders informed. Ensure proper version control in accordance with project and quality requirements.
- Ensure compliance with applicable rail standards, norms, and customer specifications.
Management of Warranty & After-Sales Activities:
- As communication window to customers and operators for topics regarding product warranty and after-sales service.
- Drive internally on investigation, report, corrective action and closure.
- Turn issues from customer side into service opportunities.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, Transportation Engineering or related field) or equivalent experience.
Experience
Above 5 years successful experience for Chinese customers in the field of railway or power electrical or industry electrical in project coordination, or project management, or sales activities, or a related engineering role.
Language skill
English is essential (company official language), Chinese is a must
Specific knowledge
- Project management certification is a plus.
- Electrical knowledge as a must
- Strong team collaboration skills
- Priority and multiple tasks management
- ISO quality systems, as well as a specific quality systems related an industry. (i.e IRIS for Railway)
- Knowledge of ERP system is an advantage
