A Snapshot of Your Day
Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer / Production QM (Plant) helps the plant's QM to maintain, implement, develop and improve the QM system in the plant, including the certifications required in compliance with business requirements, specific sector/division/business unit guidelines taking into account national and international norms, laws and internal regulations; safeguard deliveries in compliance with requirements via active QM support for suppliers and by supporting the process owner on any relevant quality and process issues.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Quality Management System: Develop, establish, manage and optimize a consistent quality management system for the plant, including the required certifications.
- Process Quality Management: The process manager is responsible for the "quality management" process at the relevant level of the plant, including describing, implementing, managing and evaluating the process and process-related data (SharePoint), and improving it. Plan, implement, analyze, and track product and process control, inspection, testing, etc.
- Quality-related reporting: Participate in (a) monitoring internal/external directives related to quality and performance for compliance; (b) development of appropriate quality information systems, including KPIs; (c) Initiating improvement measures. Prepare and perform management reviews.
- Quality-related communication: Help quality managers develop and implement communication strategies and communication plans to ensure that Siemens Energy's quality rules and culture of quality, including quality issues related to specific business units and plants, are understood throughout the plant. Ensure that quality issues and quality metrics are fully communicated internally to all employees. Ensure communication with customers, suppliers (in coordination with sales/purchasing) and external agencies.
- Process and Engineering Quality: Ensure and monitor (a) internal/external quality requirements (e.g. ISO 9001, NCR management, and rules for business units and plants, etc.) are complied with, and (b) quality methods/tools are implemented/applied in processes/projects (e.g. risk analysis, quality gates, FMEA, cause analysis, etc.). If necessary, it has the right to refuse the approval of development, production, shipment and acceptance. Include the results in the quality report.
- Audit, Control and Evaluation: Participate in internal audits, management reviews and internal assessment processes in accordance with Siemens Energy's quality management regulations. Define/recommend improvement measures, help implement and ensure implementation. Include the results in the quality report. Certified Energy Quality Auditor (ISO 9001).
- Continuous Improvement: Plan, introduce, and coordinate continuous improvement measures. Apply concepts, methodologies and practical quality tools (e.g. FMEA, cause analysis, 5S, etc.); Enable best practice sharing.
What You Bring
- 3+ years in a corresponding function or transformer industry working experience.
- International project experience with collaboration within international teams is prefer.
- Bachelor's degree, Major in automation or electrical, mechanic is better.
- Good command of English speaking
